The New River Gorge Bridge is the largest steel arch bridge in the western hemisphere. It is 1,700 feet long and towers 876 feet above the New River. The New River Gorge Bridge hosts the annual bridge day each October. Thousands gather to see the beautiful view and watch base jumpers jump from the bridge.
